Dental Implants
These titanium posts are surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as artificial tooth roots. Over time, they fuse with the bone, creating a strong and stable foundation for prosthetic teeth, such as crowns or bridges. Dental implants offer several advantages, including improved aesthetics, functionality, and oral health, as they prevent bone loss and maintain natural facial structure.
- Improved Oral Hygiene
- Preserve the Jawbone
- Stress-Free Eating

Cad Cam Technology
We use specialized software and digital scanners to create precise 3D models of a patient's teeth, facilitating the custom design of crowns, bridges, and even dental implants. The CAD/CAM system then fabricates these restorations with remarkable precision, reducing errors and ensuring a perfect fit.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE
In-office tooth whitening is a procedure designed to lighten the colour of my teeth using a combination of a hydrogen/carbamide peroxide gel and a laser/ultraviolet lamp.
POLA: During the procedure a retractor will be placed and a pre shade will be recorded. This product requires a gingival protection that is cured with a pure white light, this will be placed after the shade has been recorded. The laser/ultraviolet light and protection glasses will be placed. The timer will be switched on for 15 minutes. After the timer goes off the product will be cleaned off and a new layer of the product will be placed and the timer will be switched on for another 15 minutes and one further session will be done. Once the timer goes off the product will be removed and a post shade will be taken.
Important benefits of dental cleanings
Professional dental cleanings aren’t just for keeping your smile bright; they can have a significant impact on your general health. Insufficient oral hygiene has been linked to several serious illnesses. Brushing and flossing at home are essential, but to ensure teeth are healthy and thoroughly clean, you should schedule regular dental cleanings with your Oral hygienist.
Professional dental cleanings give your hygienist an opportunity to compare the state of your oral health to that of previous visits. If you’re moving in the wrong direction, immediate intervention can put you back on track to prevent any further dental issues
RISKS OF CONSENT FOR TREATMENT
Whitening treatment results may vary or regress due to a variety of circumstances. Almost all natural teeth can benefit from whitening treatments and significant whitening can be achieved in most cases. Whitening treatments are not
intended to lighten artificial teeth, caps, crowns, veneers or porcelain, composite or other restorative materials and that people with darkly stained yellow or brown teeth frequently achieve better results than people with gray or bluish-gray teeth.
Teeth with multiple colorations, bands, splotches or spots due to tetracycline use or fluorosis do not whiten very well, may need multiple treatments or and may not whiten at all.
Whitening treatment is not recommended for pregnant, lactating women or light-sensitive individuals.
In-office whitening treatments are generally considered safe by most dental professionals. Although the Oral hygienist has been trained, the treatment is not without risk. (Document with all possible risks can be requested from dental practice) But common risks are:
- Tooth Sensitivity/Pain – During the first 48 hours after treatment, some patients can experience some tooth sensitivity. It should subside within 48 hours.
- Gum/Lip/Cheek Inflammation – Whitening may cause inflammation. This is due to inadvertent exposure of a small area of those tissues to the product. The inflammation is usually temporary and will subside in a few days.
- Dry/Chapped Lips – The whitening treatment involves up to 90 minutes of treatment, during which the mouth is kept open continuously for the entire treatment. This could result in dryness or chapping of the lips or cheek margins, which can be alleviated by application of lip balm.
ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS
There are alternative treatments for whitening my teeth for which your Oral hygienist can provide additional information.
These treatments include:
- Take-Home Whitening Kits
- More invasive treatments such as veneers/crowns.
RELAPSE
After Pola treatment, it is natural for the teeth that underwent the treatment to regress somewhat in their shading after treatment. This is natural and should be gradual, but it can be accelerated by exposing the teeth to various staining agents, including smoking.
Results of the treatment are not intended to be permanent, and secondary, repeat or take-home treatments may be needed for the patient to maintain the tooth shade they desire at an additional cost.
